Our Story

It Started with one bottle

It started in high school with Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme. One spray and I was hooked. I spent the next few years collecting whatever I could, then I found niche perfumery and everything changed. This was fragrance as an art form and I wanted to understand it.

So I learned. I bought every book on perfumery I could find and lived on the forums, soaking up everything. Then I discovered aroma chemicals and started ordering them one by one, just to learn what each one smelt like. I mixed them together and made some truly horrible things at the start. But I kept buying, smelling, mixing and learning.

Then came Leo

A few years later my son Leo was born, and that was the moment Veigel Perfumes became real. I didn't start this brand just to sell perfume. I started it so that one day I could share it with him, work on it beside him and watch it grow with him.

Every bottle that leaves my bench is part of something I'm building for my family. One day I'll pass it to Leo, and maybe one day he'll pass it on to his own children. That's the plan, and it's why the name on the label is ours.

The Future

Veigel Perfumes is still small, and I like it that way. Every fragrance is composed, blended and bottled by hand in Australia, in batches I can stand behind. That won't change.

What will change is how far it reaches. More scents, more stories, more people finding a fragrance that feels like it was made for them. Because around here, it was. This is a house built to last generations. We're just getting started on the first one.
